We offer FREE shipping within the USA for orders of $35 or more. For orders outside of the USA, different shipping rates apply.

We want every customer to be happy with their KOVO Essentials purchase. If you’re not thrilled with your order, we are happy to accept returns for purchases made at kovoessentials.com.

KOVO Essentials accepts returns within 30 days of the delivery date for both opened and unopened items purchased directly from kovoessentials.com. To start the return process please reach out to our team at hello@kovoessentials.com. The KOVO Glow Team will email you with instructions on your return process.

Please Note: 

- KOVO Essentials does not pay for return shipping.

- Upon receipt of your return to KOVO Essentials, refunds will be processed within 3 business days. Once processed, refunds will be reflected in the account used to place the original order within 10 business days.

- Refunds processed with Klarna (Payment Plan) will receive a separate email from Klarna with details on the refund and cancellation of the payment plan.

- If you return your item before contacting KOVO Essentials, you may incur an extended timetable to process the refund.

- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

KOVO Essentials accepts all major credit cards, and KOVO Essentials E-gift cards on our website. We also offer interest-free installments through Klarna.

Once your order is completed through kovoessentials.com, you will receive an order confirmation email to the email address provided during the order process.

Probiotics are microorganisms found on the skin and inside of your gut. The key to healthy skin is a balanced ecosystem for microorganisms to harmonize in, allowing good bacteria to fight off harmful elements. Replenishing your skin with good microbes like Probiotics promotes a healthy skin barrier, and strengthens the skin’s ability to fight off free-radicals and other environmental skin stressors. Please Note: KOVO Skincare products do not contain live cultures.

The Skin’s Microbiome, also known as the skin flora, is an ecosystem of different bacteria, viruses, and fungi that live on the skin.  Like your DNA, your skin’s microbiome is unique to you. Similar to your gut, it is crucial to maintain a balanced microbiome for your skin to function properly, fighting off bad bacterias, and ultimately a multitude of ailments like dryness, blemishes, premature aging and more. Replenishing the skin with Probiotics (good bacteria), and other balancing nutrients will promote a healthy microbiome, and therefore healthy skin.

KOVO’s skincare products do not contain live cultures. We utilize non-living Lactobacillus Probiotic extracts which work to support the skin’s microbiome. Because we do not use live cultures, our products are shelf-stable and do not need to be refrigerated.

KOVO utilizes Broad-Spectrum Hemp extracts in all product formulations because it is THC Free and provides many benefits to the skin. When used in skincare, Hemp offers antioxidant, anti-sebum, anti-inflammatory, and moisturizing properties to help calm inflammation, dryness, free radical damage and more!

Bakuchiol and Retinol offer similar benefits to one another, but these ingredients are very different. Retinol is a synthetic derivative of Vitamin A, while Bakuchiol is a natural extract of the Babchi plant. 

As a synthetic chemical compound, retinol is known to cause dryness and irritation, and increased sun sensitivity, none of which is helpful in restoring and maintaining healthy skin. Being plant-based, Bakuchiol doesn’t sacrifice the health of the skin, and is safe to use morning and night.

Bakuchiol helps to plump, firm, smooth lines, reduce dark spots, boost collagen production, and stimulate cell-turnover, revealing a youthful glow without irritating even the most sensitive skin types.
